Brotherhood Gospel Choir

The Brotherhood Gospel Choir was founded in 1997 and is directed by musician and architect Paolo Viana from Novara.

Winner of 3 Gospel Music Awards (GMA) Italy 2013 and GJF Award 2001, the choir has several collaborations with international artists such as Americans Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, Myron Butler, Kurt Carr, Jonathan Nelson, Kimberly Ann Covington, Arthur Miles (Zucchero’s vocalist), Wendell Simpkins and Wayne Ellington with the Londoners, Lurine Cato, Israel J. Allen, Jason Thompson, Emlyn Maillard, Karen Gibson and Susan Harriott.

In 2007, Brotherhood had a memorable performance with the legendary Texan artist Kirk Franklin, during his only Italian date at the Sporting Palace of Novara, in the presence of 4,000 fans from all over Italy.

Since 2005, the Brotherhood, as a non profit making association, has been organizing the "Novara Gospel Festival", which has become a prestigious tradition, and has brought  best Gospel artists in the world to Italy, attracting the interest of consistently wider audience, diverse and passionate, to an extent of being awarded the Gospel Music Awards (GMA) Italy 2012 and 2013 as "Best Gospel event in Italy." An important recognition and confirmation of the validity of the artistic choices made ​​in previous years.

The repertoire of the Brotherhood, the result of a careful selection of the best tracks of Contemporary Gospel, sweeps through different musical genres such as Jazz, Blues, R & B, Hip Hop, Rock, Latin and Funky and is unexpected and very interesting to listen to.
